Late-15th Century German / Gothic Style SabatonsSize:
Medium
Completed: Jan 19, 2003
They are made from C1018 16Ga. mild steel. There are eight (8) parts not
counting the rivits. To hold the sabaton to my shoe I placed a small
ring on the last lame, I tie it with leather to the top of my
shoe's. The only real work on this project is the toe. Work slow on the
toe or use heat. Bend the lames first into place, then chisel the grove
last.
